This is a rare opportunity to see the process normally hidden in the solitary pursuit of creating this artwork.
Many days of work are compressed into the few moments it takes you to go through the slide shows.
You will find oil paintings
starting from a blank gessoed panel to the finished oil on panel painting
and an engraving in the process of being printed, from the engraved
metal plate and blank sheets of paper, to the finished print.
If you are using the Internet Explorer Browser you will see the pictures blending as you click through them. This gives the illusion, in the paintings slide shows, that you are watching the image growing from white nothingness into a living scene full of rich detail and hidden imagery.
