- Here the basic composition is laid out in pencil on the gesso.
- This painting is inspired by nature and sketched loosely from life, using the memories from years of observation, as most of my paintings are.
- Since I alter it to suit my vision, this place could never be found
in real life.

- Here is the finished painting after more glazes and detail have been added and it is varnished and dried. You can see how the color is richer and there is more depth.
